The Sedalia Symphony Orchestra is entering it's 90th season with a great line-up of concerts for you to enjoy.
The Anniversary season starts with the fall concert October 7th and features Smith Cotton Alumni Dr. Sam Stokes. Conducted by Dr. Jerrode Marsh, It's fitting that the anniversary season opens with Egmont Overture by Ludwig Van Beethoven, which was played on the first symphony concert in 1935. Starts at 7:30 PM at Smith Cotton High School in Sedalia.
Monday December 9th is the Christmas concert featuring the Concordia Community Kinderchoir. This exceptional children's choir will touch your heart and get you in the holiday spirit. Many of the children are students from St. Paul's Elementary School in Concordia. Starts at 7:30 PM at Smith Cotton High School
Handel's "Messiah" on December 8th.
The Season ticket packet also includes the winter concert in February of 2025, and the spring concert April 2025.
